Brahmasree Neelkanta Gurupadar is the founder of sree Rama Dasa Matom , The Gurupadar was born in Ayiroopara in Trivendrum District of kerala , Where the head quarters of the Mission is now located , The Gurupadar is a self made saint, he never sat at the feet of a Guru, He based his sadhana on the spiritual finding of the ancient rishis, The Gurupadar himself installed the idols of the Sree Ram Sita and Hanuman and introduced the recital of Adhyatma Ramayana in the Matom , Since the time of founding to the Matom, the Gurupadar celebrated Sree Ram Navami, Hanumad Jayanthi and Mandalapooja every year, The performance  of Sree Ramapattabishekom at the end of each festive day and the  Laksharcana day fill the hearts of devotees with joy and bliss. The Gurupadar who had realized the “Atmaram “within. offered worships and sacrifices to himself , Such unique , rare and sublime realization of the Gupadar credited  him with the distinction of Brahmavidya, , the knowledge of brahma , the highest stage to the attained by man,
